Stitches

Well, where to begin...I just finished bathing the girls and getting Elayna dressed. As I was helping Hannah pick out her pajamas, I heard Elayna run, fall, then scream. You know what they say , "A parent knows the difference in their children's cries!" This was no exception. I immediately knew something wasn't right. I ran out into the hall and saw her rocking back and forth on her knees, hitting herself on the forehead. I asked if she was ok and she looked at me crying. Nothing appeared wrong at first, it seemed like time stood still...she looked perfectly fine...then...her forehead created a small red crack, then the flood gates opened. The blood ran down her forehead, into her eyes, into her ears, down into her mouth... Being a victim of multiple head wounds, I immediately knew what to do. We stopped the bleeding and put a butterfly bandage over the cut. By the time we arrived at Community Care, Elayna was perfectly happy. Hannah however was visibly shaken. As the doctors started working on Elayna's head, Hannah became quite pale, started to gag, then almost passed out! Ironically, Elayna had no care in the world that the doctors were sewing her head! Now that it is all over, all that remains are the memories and a small pink scar!

My poor little Magoo. She is going to have as many battle scars as her mom. Gramma loves her Magoo so much.
