Oh how sad it is when your oldest has another birthday...Hannah is growing up way too fast!!!! This year was her first year to have a "birthday party" with kids from school. We decided to have it at a local park...CHAOS!!!! I guess that is good though. Hannah and her friends enjoyed playing at the "big" park. Her friends were very generous and bought her many new princess dolls for her doll house. In fitting with the theme, we ordered a princess cake. It was truly beautiful and all the little girls were in love with it!
The next day, we had a small "family" birthday. It was the grandparents, Aunt Amy and Uncle Ryan. She had two more cakes...one was Tiana. She felt soooo special. We took her to the "little" park by our house and her and Elayna played all over everything. Hannah is a GREAT big sister. She takes care of Elayna better than I could have hoped for!
Happy Birthday Pumpkin Pie!!!

Mother's Day Walk
These pictures were taken on our Mother's Day walk around the river. We stopped at the memorial and let Elayna stretch. Hannah enjoyed looking at the artillary gun while Elayna just enjoyed getting out of her stroller. Oh, and of course, Holly absolutely loves walks, especially around the river.
Baby Geese
For Mother's Day the girls and I decided to take a walk around the river. There were many new baby geese walking all over. I was able to get quite close to one...although momma goose soon eyed me and was quick on the chase. Thank goodness for a decent camera. I was able to snap some nice photos regardless of the "wild goose chase".

Swimming after the Rodeo
After the rodeo and dinner, we went back to the hotel for swimming. Jayden, Hannah, and Elayna all looked cute in their swimsuits! Elayna walked all the way to the pool. It was probably 50 yards in all. It definately took us a while, but she was exhausted afterwards...mission accomplished! The pool was pretty warm and Elayna got to try out her new swim tube. She enjoyed it and kicked frantically. Hannah and Jayden did their best to stay above water without floatation devices. They played with Aunt Amy, Uncle Ryan, and Ashley the entire time. Once finished, all girls immediately crashed hard.
Day at the Rodeo
Last weekend we decided to head to Butte, MT. My cousin Dawson has been bull riding for almost two years now and we have been promising to go see him. Sadly, it was FREEZING!!! Each girl had three coats and a sweatshirt on, as well as snuggled under a blanket. Nothing like a nice, crisp, spring day in Montana.
Here is a small clip of his first ride. Eight seconds doesn't seem like a long time, but on a bull I am sure it is an enternity. He lasted about two seconds on this ride. We were unable to make it to his second ride the following day. I guess he lasted almost SEVEN seconds! Quite amazing if you ask me.
