Sadly, we didn't make it camping this summer, but we did have many day long excursions. Labor Day we took the girls to the childrens fishing pond near Shelley. Although the pond produced nothing but Chubs (Ed is a pro at catching those!!!) Hannah was proud to say she caught them. The rules of the pond state that the number of poles in the water cannot exceed the number of children present. She loved the fishing!
Yesterday, Ed, Ryan, dad, and Hannah went hunting for the opening day of Grouse Season. I was in Boise so I missed her first day hunting (wipe a tear). That's ok, without the mighty female hunter, they weren't that successful. We will have to post pictures of Hannah's first success later! It was none-the-less a great day for her. We started her right by setting the alarm for 4:45am and hitting the road at 5:15am. Duked out in her orange, she trudged behind dad slowly...but surely. After a long morning of hunting she came home to a two-and-a-half hour nap. I can't wait to take her out!

She is so cute. So much life. Wait until she tells them how to hunt.
